Brandon Roy Planning To Retire Again Because of Degenerative Knee Arthritis

Brandon Roy of the Minnesota Timberwolves is once again considering retirement because of recurring knee problems.

Roy had plasma injections on his knee earlier this year. His knee condition somewhat improved. In fact, it enabled him to join the Timberwolves.

But unfortunately, few weeks after the opening of the NBA 2012-2013 Season, Roy experienced some knee pains. He had to undergo an emergency arthroscopic knee surgery. But that didn't improve the condition of his knee.

Doctors are saying that he now has a degenerative knee arthritis. It’s a condition that might lead to Roy’s permanent retirement.

I would consider it such a loss. We often talk to people regarding how arthritis affects their lives during the collection of arthritis leads and hear said stories, but this is very depressing.
