Koko Pingoy Ateneo Bound For College Basketball: He Will Wear Blue and White In The UAAP!

"One million percent he's going to Ateneo.” – Koko Pingoy's Father

What Koko's Father said could finally answer the long standing question, where will Koko Pingoy play next year?

It is now clear, he will be playing for the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

Pingoy, a back-to-back UAAP Juniors MVP will form a formidable backcourt duo with Kiefer Ravena if ever he ends up being with the Blue Eagles.

Pingoy is a certified scorer. He once scored a whopping 43 points in one of the Baby Tams’ games in the UAAP.

He averaged 21.2 pts., 4.4 rebs., 5 assts., and 2.3 stls. per game in the recently concluded UAAP Season 75 Juniors Basketball Season.

A lot of big time schools want to acquire Koko, but his Father Mr. Jerry Pingoy boldly expressed that he prefers Ateneo over any other schools.

Jerry has high hopes for Koko. He believes that Koko has great basketball skills and that someday he will also become a PBA player just like him.

On the contrary, FEU said that Pingoy and his father signed a contract with the Tamaraws. They are now hoping for Koko to honor the spirit of that contract.

If Koko decides to go to another school such as Ateneo, the Soc Rivera Rule will have to be applied. Pingoy will have to sit out 1 UAAP Season in order to be eligible to play for the Blue Eagles.
