Philippine Azkals' Loss To Laos Will NOT BE COUNTED in The FIFA World Ranking: Here's Why

This is a welcoming news for Filipino Football Fans. Last Tuesday, FIFA.Com has removed the Philippine Azkals vs. Laos international friendly match from the official list of fixtures or matches. Thus, it will no longer be counted for FIFA world ranking.

The reason behind that is because the referee of the match was not officially sanctioned by FIFA. In other words, the referee was not in the list of official FIFA referees.

Now I know why there's no FIFA badge on the referee's uniform.
