The FEU Lady Tamaraws are still in the thick of the fight for a UAAP Season 74 Women's Volleyball Final Four slot after they defeated the seemingly overpowering UST Tigresses last Sunday at the Arena in San Juan. The match went the distance as FEU won the game via 4 sets: 23-25/25-20/25-23/ 25-23.
The Tams won this game largely because of Rosemarie Vargas' terrific performance as she had 27 points, 21 of which came from her successful attacks. The second reason why they won this game was that they showed a great floor defense against the attacks of UST's Maru Banaticla, Maika Ortiz and Judy Caballejo.
