Michael Weiss Stays As Philippine Azkals' Coach Despite The Poor Showing of His Team In Recent Tournaments

Despite the poor showing of the Philippine Azkals in their past tournaments such as the Long Teng Cup 2011 and the SEA Games 2011 including their most recent exhibition match against the LA Galaxy wherein they lost via 1-6, their coach Michael Weiss will still remain as their head coach. That's according to Snow Badua's Tweet below. It was even confirmed by Mr. Dan Palami, the manager of the Philippine Azkals.

Thus, for now it's safe to say that at least, up to March 2012, we can be sure that Coach Weiss will still be the leader of the Philippine Azkals in the AFC Challenge Cup.

Prior to the AFC Challenge Cup 2012, the Philippine Azkals will undergo a series of Tune-up games against the teams in the Gulf Region. We all know that the Teams there are tough as nails and they have great football programs, thus we can bet that our very own Philippine Azkals will learn a lot of new things from them.
