Floyd Mayweather New Pound For Pound King But Manny Pacquiao Criticizes The Latest Pound For Pound Ranking

Manny Pacquiao has returned to the Philippines earlier this morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. He was jubilantly welcomed by his family and by the media who were waiting for him inside the Airport.

As part of the media's itinerary, they asked some questions to Manny Pacquiao. Of course, majority of them asked about his recently concluded fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. A member of the media asked "What can you say about the most recent Pound-For Pound ranking making Floyd Mayweather Number 1?" Manny answered in an indifferent manner. He somewhat said that: "Mga hindi Pilipino ang nagsasabi na hindi na ako Pound-For-Pound King."

Wanna see the new Pound For Pound ranking made by Yahoo! Sports? Here it is:

    1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Analysis:Inability to finish Narvaez dropped him in some voters’ minds.

I personally don't agree with this latest Pound For Pound ranking because Manny won against Marquez and just like what the majority of boxing coaches will tell, "a win is a win no matter what. Even if it's a bitter pill to swallow." That saying is tenable as there are judges around the ring to watch the performance of the two fighters. If you'll put any doubt in that win just because a knockout artist like Manny was not able to Knockdown Marquez, then that probably explains why Manny belittles this latest ranking.

As some of you already know, there is an allegation that Marquez hampered Manny's movements in the ring by stepping on his foot in many instances in their fight. Yahoo! should take a look on that foot pinning allegation because I believe that, that will significantly affect this new Pound For Pound Ranking.

The biggest problem now is, Mayweather will now have lesser reasons to fight Manny Pacquiao as he is now the new Pound For Pound King. We may no longer see the most awaited Pacquiao-Mayweather fight next year because of this development in the Pound For Pound Ranking that placed Mayweather on top of the Mountain.

sabi nga dun sa ring magazines, ang yahoo sports daw eh cnabi lng about sa majority decision, samantala nung c marquez-mayweather match daw eh very easy lng ang pgkatalo ni marquez but yahoo sports, did'nt say about manny-delahoya at manny-hatton which is very easy sating pmbansang kamao samantala hirap nmn si mayweather sa match nila!!! sa ring magazines, still pacman, the #1 p4p.

How can yahoo sports say that mayweather is the p4p king?

Mayweather need to signed first the contract then beat Pacquiao, if you beat Pacquiao I think no more questions that you are the real king of the ring or p4p king in the wolrd of boxing.

DAPAT LANG TALAGANG TANGHALIN POUND 4 POUND KING SI MAYWEATHER JR DAHIL LUMALABAN SYA NG PATAS AT HINDI NAG RE REQUEST NG CATCHWEIGHT SA KALABAN,DI KATULAD NI PACROIDS LAHAT NG MGA KINAKALABAN NYA AY DEHYDRATED AT CATCHWEIGHT LIKE COTTO DELA HOYA MARGARITO.
