Barako Bull's winning streak ended today as they were defeated by the then win-less team Alaska Aces with the final score of 93-72 in the PBA Season 37 Philippine Cup. The Alaska Aces have just chalked up their first win this Season at the expense of the Barakos.

During the game, both teams showed their best efforts on the defensive end especially in the first half. The first half ended with a very close 36-40 score in favor of the Barakos.

But the Alaska Aces became more aggressive during the early parts of the 2nd half as Reyes, Tenorio and the man of the game, Sonny Thoss who garnered his new career high 27 points. Thoss threw continuous buckets resulting to the 3rd quarter final score, 61-54 in favor of the Aces.

The Barako Bull were still hopeful as super rookie Dylan Ababou who scored 19 big points in his score sheet, fired successful crucial buckets to try to erase their double-digit deficit but his efforts were put into waste as the Aces went out to win by 11 points.

The Barako Bull gave too many fouls and too many opportunities to the Aces to stretch their lead to 17 points deficit. The Aces' Mac Baracael didn't stop from bombing 3 pointers from beyond the arc, assured their 1st victory in the league.

    The scores from PBA.ph:

    ALASKA 93 - Thoss 27, Baracael 16, Tenorio 15, Baguio 10, Dela Cruz 9, Reyes 8, Cablay 8, Custodio 0, Eman 0.
