This year's UAAP Cheerdance Competition is only the 2nd time in the whole 16 year history of the competition that the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe failed to make it to the top 3. While their rival, the UP Pep Squad has now won 4 UAAP Cheerdance Titles in the last 5 years of the competition. In 2009 they placed only 3rd, but in '10 and '11 they won back to back Cheerdance Championship Titles. Congratulations UP!
The DLSU Pep Squad also made a huge leap as they break their long losing record in the UAAP Cheerdance yesterday. They used their clean and flashy routine to snag the 1st runner-up trophy in the competition.
