Petron Slams The Grand Slam Seeking Talk 'n Text Tropang Texters in Game 7 of PBA Governors' Cup Finals 2011: Arwin Santos Wins Finals MVP

Here's Arwind Santos putting it all on the line.

Arwind Santos didn't win the PBA Season 36 MVP plum, that's probably his main source of motivation in the Finals as he bested the Season MVP Jimmy Alapag in the all important game 7 of the PBA Governors' Cup 2011 Finals. Arwind scored 16 points while Jimmy only scored 13 points. Arwind's points helped his buddy Anthony Grundy in beating TNT, 85-73. Due to Arwind's all around performance- doing a great job both in the defensive and the offensive ends for Petron, he was named as the PBA Finals' MVP.

Santos and Grundy were the main scorers for Petron in this game. Together with their teammates, they dominated TNT the whole game. Take a look at the scoring per quarters: 28-17, 40-34, 64-53, 85-73. As you can see, Petron won all the quarters. And that's partly the reason why TNT lost in this game. They're not used to trail behind a team in 3 quarters. Most of the time they only trail behind in the first 2 quarters and then after-wards they will dominate the whole 2nd half. That was not the case this time that's why they lost. Thus, Petron was able to stop the Grand Slam seeking TNT. Congrats Petron!
