Andre Drummond Will Play For The UConn Huskies in NCAA Season 2011-2012

One of the best centers in the US High School ranks, Andre Drummond, will be bringing his talent to the University of Connecticut Huskies, the reigning NCAA Division 1 champions this year. He was supposed to go straight to the NBA but apparently he changed his mind. He decided to go to UConn and to play for them in the NCAA Season 2011-2012.

The 6-11 center Drummond will be teaming up with Shabazz Napier, Jeremy Lamb, Oriakhi, and Roscoe for the Huskies. For sure they will be having a better chance for a back to back NCAA Championship and also his decision will make the new NCAA Season more exciting. Here's what Drummond said using his Twitter account.

HS players cannot go straight out of HS and play in the NBA anymore. There's a ruling implemented years ago that wil prevent that from happening again. They have to have at least a yr of xp from college or in B Jennings and Jeremy Tyler's case, They played a yr of basketball outside the NBA just to be eligible.
