Teen Azkals to play in Laos: The Next Generation of Azkals Making Their Move

These are the next members of the Philippine Azkals. Meet the Teen Azkals.

They are known as the next generation members of the Philippine Azkals, they are the Teen Azkals. Their team is composed of under 16 years old football players who came from the different parts of our country. The Philippine Football Federation or PFF said that they are the future of Philippine Football. That's why as early as now they are channeling some of their budgets for their further development as players. Yesterday, they flew to Laos to have a series of training sessions and on field exposures. Before they go, they underwent some pep talk that was conducted by our very own Chieffy Caligdong, the Silent Assassin. Chieffy said that "believe in yourself don't compare yourself to others. Play your own style of football."

Our Philippine national youth football team, the Teen Azkals, will compete in Laos for the ASEAN Football Federation Under 16 Championship. The tournament will be from July 7 up to July 21.
