Petron's New Import Anthony Grundy to Replace Jeremy Wise in PBA Governors' Cup 2011: Better than Wise?

The former NC State guard, Anthony Grundy, was tapped by the Petron Blaze Boosters Team to replace the injured Jeremy Wise. Grundy was measured earlier today in the commissioner's office and he was reported to be 6'0 2/8''. He passed the 6'2 height ceiling and so he's already cleared to play in the PBA. His first game with Petron will be tomorrow against the Powerade Tigers at 7:00 p.m..

Grundy gained some professional basketball experience in Athens. He played for the AEK Athens Basketball Team. He led his team to a 4-6 win-loss record. He averaged 14.5 points per game on a 50% field goal shooting. He's reported to be fast and a certified scorer. His biggest asset is that he's ambidextrous. He can shoot the ball using both his left or right hand. His weakness is that he's not comfortable in shooting off the dribble. He's more attuned in shooting set shots.

To give you more idea on how he plays, here's a short video from YouTube.
