Mike Tyson, the former undisputed heavy-weight world champion in boxing and now a retired boxer, is once again making it to the headlines of sports blogs because he's said to have a new job. He's now a nurse.
Yeah, you heard it right, he's now a nurse... in a reality TV show in CBS that's entitled "Same Name."
The said show aims to feature famous people from different fields while they switch occupations with an ordinary person for one week. Mike Tyson was one of the chosen celebrities to undergo that switch. He switched places with a nurse who's also named Mike Tyson.
Mike Tyson will be a nurse for one week. That means he will take care of the patients in the hospital, he will establish medical devices, he will follow the orders of the doctors, he will administer medications, he will transfer patients, and he will provide emotional support to the patients and to their loved ones for 1 whole week. Imagine Mike Tyson doing all of that. I can't help but smile especially when I remember what he did to Evander Holifield.
Kidding aside, Mike Tyson agreed to become a nurse for 1 week probably because he wants to take a look at what happened to Evander Holifield's right ear that he bit several years ago.
