Jonas Villanueva Out for 2-3 Weeks for B-Meg Llamados Because of MCL Injury

One of the point guards of the B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados, Jonas Villanueva suffered a Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injury in their game against Talk 'n Text last June 30, 2011 in Dubai. The doctors gave a prognosis that Jonas will be out for 2 to 3 weeks due to his injury. He will have to undergo therapy sessions and strengthen sessions to heal his injury. The B-Meg team management were thankful that it was not an ACL injury which is more serious than an MCL injury.

A member of the B-Meg coaching staff, Koy Banal said that the 28 year old and former King Tamaraw, Jonas Villanueva will be out for 2-3 weeks. Roger Yap and Pong Escobal will have to step up and will have to take Jonas' minutes on the court.
