Rajon Rondo To Play In Game 5 Despite His Elbow Injury: Eastern Conference Semis Heat vs. Celtics NBA 2011 Playoffs

Knowing his importance on his team and that his team needs to win because time is not on their side, Rajon Rondo chose to still play in game 5 of their best of 7 Eastern Conference semis series against the Miami Heat despite his left elbow injury. The Heat leads the series 3-1 and they're one win away from the Finals. Rondo agreed to still play in the all important game 5. Carlos Arroyo said:
"Rajon is feeling bad about his left elbow. It has a plaster but still he participated in our shoot around. He's saying that he's ready for game 5."

Rajon Rondo is a tough customer. That's why he has captured the admiration of his teamates and other sports fans including me. It will be an interesting game 5 come Wednesday.
