The Alaska Aces say goodbye to the PBA semifinals as they were wiped out by the rejuvenated Air 21 Express with the score of 97-94 in the game 3 of their best of 3 quarterfinals showdown.
This is a come from behind win for the Express as they climbed all the way back from an 18 point deficit in the second quarter.
Josh Urbiztondo played the hero's role as he clawed his way to sink 4 straight three pointers in the third quarter of this game. Josh Urbiztondo had 17 points.
Bong Ramos was happy that his team fought back in this game. The Express has been known to be push overs but in this game they are not.
Alaska refused to lose but the Express' import, Alpha Bangura bulldozed his way with 28 points.
LD Williams led Alaska as he scored 26 points and he grabbed 10 rebounds.
Air 21 advances into the semifinals and they will face the infamous Talk n Text Tropang Texters on Friday for a best of 5 series.
