6 Chosen Referees To Officiate Ginebra vs Talk n Text PBA Finals Games In Commissioner's Cup 2011

The PBA commissioner Attorney Chito Salud has chosen 6 great performing referees who will take turns in officiating for the best of 7 PBA Finals series of Ginebra Gin Kings versus Talk 'n Text Tropang Texters. This is in line with the philosophy that the players should decide the results of the games and not the referees during crunch time.

The games in the Finals are expected to be so intense because of the rivalry between these two teams. The leaders of these two teams have voiced out their plans. Mark Caguioa said that their defense will be a lot tougher and they will run a lot of fast breaks. His teamate Rudy Hatfield said that they will not back down against the fire power of Talk 'n Text. They know how to win and that is through hard work.

Jimmy Alapag and Kelly Williams said that they have the advantage in this game but Ginebra's confidence is high because they beat the second best team in the league, Smart Gilas. They will double their efforts in defense and in pressuring the guards of Ginebra. Alapag also said that Ginebra has a deep bench. They will try to exhaust Mark Caguioa.

The 6 referees that were chosen are Jose Murillo, Throngy Aldaba, Jess Ferrer, Mario Montiel, Luisito Cruz, and Ogie Bernarte. They are the best referees in the PBA right now. They also held high votes from different coaches.
