Volley fans will again have their volleyball action appetite satisfied with the upcoming opening of Shakey's V-League Season 8 on April 3, 2011. Ateneo Lady Eagles, Adamson Lady Falcons, NU Lady Bulldogs and San Sebastian Lady Stags are only 4 of the 10 exciting teams that will participate in the V-League. The teams will be divided into 2 groups.
Group A will be comprised of 5 teams. These teams are Ateneo, FEU, San Sebastian, Southwestern University, and Lyceum. Group B will have Adamson, CSB, University of St. La Salle (Bacolod), UPHSD, and NU.
Each team will have 12 players and they are only allowed to have 2 guest players. In the quarterfinals only 8 teams will remain and they will have a single round elimination. The semi-finals will be a best of 3 series and the finals will be a best of 5 series.
Here is the full game schedule of the Shakey's V-League Season 8. I got this from Shakey's V-League's official facebook page. The first two games on April 3 will be Ateneo versus FEU and UPHDS vs NU.
