The UST Lady Tigresses were caught off guard and out of shape as they struggled to beat the surging NU Lady Bulldogs. Judy Caballejo and Aiza Maizo showed their flabby builts which came from the holiday break. Maizo struggled in her game. But it was Maru Banaticla, the second smallest player in the UST line-up stepped up. She showed her soft drop shots and smart attacks that baffled the NU frontlines. Mervic Mangi and the NU team challenged the Tigresses. They were able to take 2 sets from UST. UST had to win 2 straight sets just to beat NU. You will see the set scores and you will be overwhelmed on how NU challenged UST. With the win, UST now has a 6-0 win loss record. NU will go down in the team standings with 3-4 win loss record. DLSU lady archers also win against UE lady warriors. DLSU shares the top spot with UST. They will soon face each other to determine who will stay on top.
