Boston Celtics Beats New York Knicks 118-116 December 15 2010: The Knicks Are In It To Win It

The New York Knicks have been revamped with the addition of the super powerforward Amar'e Stoudemire and the rising star pointguard Raymond Felton. So far they are on the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference with 16-10 win loss record. So far, they are competing in a league where the concept of Big 3 is slowly making their way to the teams. They are on an 8 game winning streak.

There's no other way to show that they are legit contenders in this NBA season than beating the Boston Celtics. With the help of Amar'e and Raymond, they led for the most parts of this game. Amar'e had a double double with 39 points and 10 rebounds. Danilo Gallinari had 20 points to help the Knicks' cause but they still fell short. The game went down the wire. But it was Paul Pierce's game winner that beat the Celtics. Amar'e had a desperation three, it went in but it was nullified because the game clock had expired.

I was so happy for Spike Lee because his Knicks are no longer being trashed by other NBA Teams.

Here's the highlights video of the game:
