Gwyne Capacio Of La Salle Zobel Chooses Ateneo De Manila University For College Hoops

Gwyne Capacio, a superstar power forward out of De La Salle Zobel Highschool basketball program, chose The Ateneo Blue Eagles as his home for his college life. Above is his picture wearing The Ateneo Jersey. He's just one of the many blue chip recruits of the Ateneo who will try to give them their 4-peat. The other big player in all aspects who will dawn the Ateneo jersey is Greg Slaughter from the University of Visayas and whose also a National Team Member.

I can just nod my head as a sign that The Ateneo Blue Eagles are really in it to get their 4-peat in the UAAP season 74 men's basketball.

Gwyne Capacio is the son of the former FEU Tamaraws head coach Glenn Capacio. He stands 6'3 and plays the forward position. During his stay with the DLSZ Junior Archers he averaged 14 points and 4 rebounds per game.

His teamate from DLSZ Arnold Van Opstal has not yet decided whether to join him in Ateneo or to stay in DLSU Manila. If he would choose Ateneo, that would definitely seal the deal.

One Big Fight!

Here's the video of Gwyne Capacio from YouTube:

Gwayne sounds like his dad, Glenn. His stance is also like his dad's. Wish him all the best.
