Ginebra vs Meralco Game Review PBA 36th Season

It was Mac Cardona who is considered as the franchise player of the Meralco Bolts delivered in clutch as they beat Ginebra by the score of 74-73.

It came down to the last 24 seconds in the fourth quarter that Mac Cardona shocked the Ginebra Crowd in the Araneta Coliseum by hitting a game winner teardrop right at the top of the key. They won over Ginebra by just one point. The score was 74-73.

The height advantage of Meralco was shown in the game. The guard scoring of Ginebra weren't enough to beat Meralco. Helterbrand, Caguioa and Tubid all made their presence felt but Asi, Aquino and Beau Belga over powered Eric Menk, Intal and De Ocampo.

All of the rookies who played in this game were out shown by Shawn Weinstein. He showed his three point shooting and court smarts. Meralco's boss, Manny Pangilinan congratulated Weinstein for a job well done.
