CONGRATULATIONS to the Nokia Pilipinas U18 team for their first win in the FIBA ASIA games against Saudi Arabia, 86-68.
The first game of the Republic Of the Philippines Nokia Pilipinas U18 or under 18 team was a bit hard considering that they were up against a big team, the Arabian Basketball U18 Team. Their center was standing 6'9 while our center, was just 6'4. But it was the finals MVP of the UAAP Juniors, Kiefer Ravena that bailed out the Team Philippines. His 15 points and 7 assists came when his needed them the most. Von Pessumal and Chris Tolomia added 23 points in total to boost the Pilipinas U18 for the win over the ominous pounding Arabians.
