The UAAP Season 73 will open on July 10 2010 at the Araneta Coliseum. Of course it will begin with the opening basketball games which all of us are craving for since the start of the classes.
The De La Salle University Green Archers will be the host of this year's UAAP Season. And, we all know that if it's De La Salle, there will definite be many surprises that would make the new UAAP season more enjoyable.
The De La Salle University is known for being a great school that offers excellent engineering courses, such as Computer Science and they also offer great advertising course. They are also one of the best schools who has great basketball program. They have produced the likes of JV Casio, Mac Cardona, Ren Ren Ritualo and many other great players all over the Philippines. They sport great team jerseys with flair.
With their background, it is not surprising that they will give the UAAP fans some love through never before seen theme, banners, and opening ceremony.
If the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers are known for being culturistic, the University of the Philippines for being nationalistic, the Ateneo De Manila University Blue Eagles for being simple but elegant, FEU for being postmodernistic, the De La Salle University Green Archers are known for being advocates of technological advancements, popular art, and for being fabulous.
De La Salle University will be the host of UAAP Season 73. With all the hype of this year's UAAP they will highten its intensity thru the theme they call "Heroes." At first I thought it will be patterned to the world famous Heroes series from the United States of America but after seeing its video it was totally different. It was very unique. It's truly a masterpiece and a success in the making.
De La Salle will definitely revolutionize the Opening Ceremonies of the UAAP. Kudoz to De La Salle and the minds behind the theme of this year's UAAP.
