De La Salle University Green Archers Line-up UAAP Season 73

If there's something good that's happening for La Salle this year it's the arrival of Almond Vosotros in their line-up for this year's UAAP season 73. Vosotros was a product of San Sebastian Highschool and was the member of the NCAA juniors championship team. At first sight this guy is very deceiving because of his thin frame a la Cardona and Boybits Victoria but his performance on the court is in no way thinner than his heart and basketball I.Q. He plays like Scottie Pippen and JV Casio. He can drive hard to the basket and he can shoot three's at will.

I'm quite sure that this guy would be one of the best Archers who ever played the game of basketball.

For more info about La Salle I got some from INBOUNDPASS.COM:
De La Salle University Green Archers
    2009 Record: 6th place, 5-9
Head Coach: Dindo Pumaren, 1st year as DLSU Head Coach
Key Losses: PJ Barua, Bader Malabes, Hyram Bagatsing, James Mangahas, Arvie Bringas,
Key Additions: Luigi De la Paz, Nico Elorde, Jarelan Tampus, Aiki Herrera, Papot Paredes, Almond Vosotros,
Holdovers: Jovet Mendoza, Simon Atkins, Joel Tolentino, Maui Villanueva, Ferdinand, Gab Banal, Joshua Webb, Sam Marata
    Background
Since 1994, the DLSU Green Archers have always been competing. In Season 72, they halted that momentum. Franz Pumaren decided to run for a seat in government, leaving the Green Archers to his able lieutenant, brother, and former UE Head Coach for 5 seasons, Dindo Pumaren, in a rebuilding phase. The Green Archers will embark on a new journey in Season 73. This will be an unchartered territory. And they face it with great optimism.
    Key Changes
Aside from its Head Coach, the Green Archers are prepped up with probably some of the best available rookies in the market but they will need time to mature, but with their kind of pedigree and with the right seasoning, I believe that won’t be an issue. Key players lost due to personal interests, academics problems and other unwanted complications, have been replaced with players fit for the job. The De La Salle program has always provided the right tools and they are on track to go for more playoff appearances in the very near future.
    Outlook
The Green Archers have an abundance of able perimeter scorers. Almond Vosotros, Joshua Webb, Nico Elorde, Jarelan Tampus and Luigi De La Paz who had played consistently well during the preseason tournaments, are capable backcourt scorers. The main issue for the Green Archers on offense will be from the shaded area. Veterans Maui Villanueva and Ferdinand are role players but could be forced into the limelight only as fillers which leaves us to sophomore forward Yutien Andrada and Papot Paredes as the more viable option up front for De La Salle.
    Prognosis
Defense will be the key to the Green Archers lack of firepower in most areas. Since the departure of Franz Pumaren to politics, Coach Dindo Pumaren has made sure that the expectations for each player to play solid ball pressure for 40 minutes remain unchanged. It will be another tight basketball floor when they face Green Archers.

This year DLSU had gone key players. Last time I watched the fil-oil in a television I didn't see Simon Atkins, Maui Villanueva and Van Opstals playing in the court. But still they have Revilla, Norbeto Torres, Webb and Teng, this key player of DLSU do better for their team. We will see you in UAAP season 75.
