NBA All Defensive Team 2010

Office Map

In this time of the year where NBA playoffs is already on, the pandemoniun hunt of the teams for the golden crown intensifies. And we all know that defense wins championships most of the time than pure offense. This years awardees and ultimately the member of NBA 2010 all defensive team, awarded in New York, which is led by the monster power forward/center of the Orlando Magic, Dwight Howard who became the first player to lead the league in rebounding and blocks in consecutive seasons, thus he headlines the news for leading the list. He was then followed by Rajon Rondo who leads the Boston Celtics and perhaps the whole NBA for steals per game, then Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Gerald Wallace. The surprising thing is there's no Dwyane Wade on the top five but he's still on the list. Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, Thabo Sefalosha of the Oklahoma Thunders, Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and Anderson Varejao make history as they enter this elite list of defenders.

here are some defensive vids of some players. learn from them. keep the tower of defense burning!!!

The cream of the crop, Dwight Howard has stats that made the voters head nod for him to win the defensive of the year award. He has an average 13.2 rebounds and 2.78 blocks per game and became only the fifth player in NBA history to lead the league in rebounding for at least three consecutive seasons.
