Nate Robinson First Filipino NBA Player and He Will Play for The Philippine Basketball Team? Apparently, He's not...

With the Johny Abarrientos barely making it to the NBA...Nate Robinson finally made us Filipinos proud as he is declared to be one of the first two basketball players with a Filipino blood to ever play professional basketball in what is considered as the greatest and the most lucrative basketball league in the whole wide world, the NBA. The first one was Mr. Townsend and now, Mr. Nate Robinson.

Nate is known as the little highflyer because he is just 5'7 without rubbershoes and 5'9 with shoes. He was a former Knick and now he is vying for a title with the Celtics. He is said to have 1/8 Filipino blood coming from the side of his mother. If ever he indeed has a Filipino blood he may be eligible to play for the RP Smart Gilas Team which is being molded to be in the Olympics someday. He will play with the likes of Dylan Ababou and Jayvee Casio.
