"The Best A Man Can Get" that's indeed the aim of Gilette (the official Razor of PBA) when they put up exciting festivities during the much awaited Father's Day match-up between two of the league's most famous teams- Ginebra and San Miguel. Luckily, I was there to relish the fun and games with my wife.
It was a night to behold as the launch of Gilette's "Dad vs. Internet" campaign featuring the up and coming star Jeron Teng and his PBA Legend father Alvin Teng coincided with the exciting game and with the special treat that Gilette prepared for the father figures.
It was so nice, I can't help but say wow as there was a free Gilette shaving service with barber in their booth inside the Smart Araneta Coliseum. They really made us dads feel pampered and holistically cared for.
There was also an activity called Ahit Pogi of the Game wherein father and sons from the audience were randomly chosen to take part in the basketball shootout.
The dance number of The Alliance during the halftime show made the crowd even more hyped-up as it was really a joy to watch.
The Gilette Father's Day Takeover is part of Gilette and PBA's partnership, with the former as the official razor of the PBA. As part of this partnership, 150 P&G employees are supporting the historic game from the stands.
