Coach Tim Cone talks about Teytey Teodoro!

Coach Tim Cone has seen it all in basketball. The stars, the rivalries and the players who make a difference. Short of saying that he knows what he's talking about. Including the potential of his players, and when he compares you to the greats, you can bet that's 100 percent accurate.

Take for example the Jose Rizal University standout Teytey Teodoro. When the lefty scorer got the call to perform for Ginebra, he did not disappoint Ginebra's multi-titled coach.

“We're very impressed with Teytey, I think he has PBA skills, he's a very accomplished offensive player, It's just really a matter of time whether he has the defense to come and play in our system and whether he has the speed and quickness to matchup with the point guards around the league,” said Coach Tim in an interview.

Teodoro got the spotlight when he notched key points in the Gin Kings's PBA season opener win against TNT, 90-79 at the Philippine Arena.

Coach Tim was so happy that he can't help but compare Teytey to Willie Miller.

“He reminds me so much of Willie Miller in terms of skills. He has the same type of skills that Willie has and he knows how to use his body. I'm really impressed with him.”

Now let's just trust Coach Tim's process on he will develop Teytey further as he marches forward to his PBA Journey. Best of luck!
