Tobys District 3x3 Basketball League Was a Success, & Tobys New Store in Imus Cavite Now Open!

"Tobys District Ayala Imus Aims to be The Center of Sports in The South"

South ballers responded to the challenge of the newly-opened Tobys store in District Ayala Imus last Saturday as they played their hearts out during District's 3-on-3 Basketball League.

The high intensity ballgames in the Open division, 18 under, and 14 under made everyone feel the sudden surge of the early summer vibe. It was as if the scorching heat of the sun ignited the players.

It served as a reminder for everyone that summer is just around the corner, and that it's time for the kids to go out more often and try to engage to different sports such as basketball.

This is the perfect time for brands like Tobys and Under Armour to collaborate and stage a sports tournament for the community.

Under Armour made it clear that they want to help grow and improve youth basketball regionally. And, it has to start somewhere, perhaps in Imus Cavite.

"We're really happy to partner with one of the foundation ng basketball in Imus. So we are having partnership with Team Philippines, it's a sports development para sa mga bata and we wanted Tobys Imus to be the sports destination ng mga kids. Instead of playing mobile games, video games, we want them to be physically involved and since basketball is number one in the Philippines, we started with basketball. We call it sports camp. Basketball muna then badminton. We don't know kung ano yung magiging result, pero mainly, basketball muna yung focus," explained Sir. Allan Majadillas of One of A Kind Marketing, Under Armour's lead marketing arm in the Philippines

The basketball community in the area responded well. Several teams tried to join and compete for a chance to go to Manila for the National Tournament.

"And also we're really excited kasi yung 3-on-3 is booming. We wanted to have full-grown talent mula sa Imus kaya si Under Armour nagsponsor ng wildcard, fortunately nag-approve naman sila ng 4 teams while the top 4 teams ng U18 will play in Manila around April for the National Tournament," added Sir Allan.

The cream of the crop, sponsored by Tobys District Imus, Tobys, Sanct band ph, Under Armour PH, Under Armour SEA, and Fit strong

A huge congratulations to the teams who emerged victorious during the event: Open Division: Team Ozamis, 14 Under: St. Edward Integrated School Imus, and then 18 Under: Team Mamba Army.

Meanwhile, the wildcard matches for the U18 division will happen this coming March with St. Edward, Team Rebels, and Perpetual Help Las Pinas looking to redeem themselves after absorbing tough setbacks in the District Tournament.

And then of course, for your sporting needs, you can always go and visit Tobys District Ayala in Imus. It's a complete sports store. They're always ready to provide sports apparels and equipment for the ballers in the South.
