10 selected participants who emerged from different walks of life converged in MOA Musical Hall last Friday to compete for the R U Tough Enough 2017 Man vs. Woman edition title. They're the finalists who passed the various physical challenges that tested their will leading into the big night.

An unheralded young man from Baguio named Renz Lou proved that men still reign supreme in the the R U Tough Enough Arena. Renz, the 20 year-old youngest participant known as the "fit influencer-Igorot heartthrob" bested coach Joana Tantoco in the finale round to bag the title.

When you check out Lagria's social media account, he's already famous, and this can make him even more famous not just as a budding trainer but also a budding celebrity.

He's not just a handsome guy, he's also a man of substance with strength and metal toughness that came from being a construction worker at a young age and being an Igorot who grew up in the mountains of Cordillera.

He showed tremendous effort that earned him a whopping 250,000 Php plus other prizes and the bragging right "the R U Tough Enough (RUTE) toughest Pinoy champion."

The crowd went wild with mixed emotions when he came out to get his prize. Truly, greatness can come from anywhere as long as you are willing to sacrifice, work hard and use your weaknesses to propel you farther than the rest.
