LA Tenorio Wants a teammate like Joe DeVance: Read his statement here!

With coach Tim Cone's arrival, the fans including the Barangay Ginebra players got excited about their chances of doing better next PBA Season.

Ginebra point-guard LA Tenorio shared the same sentiment when he spoke to BallersPinas.

"Chances wise, lagi namang may chance. It's up to us kung saan namin kukunin yung chance na yun. Hopefully makalampas kami sa quarterfinals. Yun muna goal namin. Of course, sino ba naman ang ayaw na magchampion agad diba? Pero it's easier said than done," Tenorio said.

Their main focus right now is the getting acquainted with Coach Tim Cone's triangle offense.

"Yun naman ang gusto rin naming mga players sa Ginebra na umayos na yung offense. Hopefully, sana makuha namin agad yung Triangle offense ni Coach Tim," added Tenorio.

But his ultimate wish right now is to have a teammate like Joe Devance who can play different positions.

"Yun nga I think mas more talented yung team namin ngayon (complete team with no injuries). Mas maraming pwedeng gawin sa team namin kasi marami kaming personnel na pwedeng maglaro ng multiple positions. Very important sa Triangle offense yan. like Joe DeVance. We all know what he did sa Star diba? Hopefully magkaroon kami ng player na ganun. Hopefully it's Japeth or whoever," highlighted the 5'8 baller.
