Alyssa Valdez and Coach Roger Gorayeb's Message to The Supporters of The U-23 Team after Beating Kazakhstan

After winning over Kazakhstan in 3 sets: 25-19, 25-11, and 28-26 on Saurday, the Philippine U-23 Women's Volleyball team captain and pride of Ateneo, Alyssa Valdez and their mentor, Coach Roger Gorayeb talked about the victory and they also expressed their gratitude to their supporters all over the Philippines.

"Siyempre andiyan teammates ko kaya kami nanalo. About sa injury, wala, wala na. I was inspired by my teammates, coaches, and everyone who cheered for us, the fans," said Alyssa during the U-23 post-game interview.

Coach Roger also share the same sentiments.

"Yung puso nila (ng mga players) mas malaki pa sa height nila. Wala na kong mahihiling pa. Salamat sa lahat ng sumoporta at naniwala, pati din sa mga hindi naniwala, salamat parin!" Coach Roger Gorayeb exclaimed.

This win catapulted the Nationals to the next round of the U-23 Asian Women's Volleyball Tournament. They will either face Japan or Chinese Taipei.
