The Ateneo Men's Volleyball Team has captured its first ever title in UAAP Volleyball history after beating the NU Bulldogs in game 2 of their best of 3 UAAP Season 77 Men's Volleyball Finals on Saturday afternoon at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The back-to-back MVP Marck Espejo led the way with 33 points for the Ateneo de Manila University. They win in 4 sets: 25-23, 23-25, 23-25, and 15-25.
NU Started the game on a high note in the first set, but Ateneo rose to the challenge in the succeeding sets to break the game wide open en route to their first ever title.
