Is It Possible To Have Co-Rookie of The Year Awardees, Bea de Leon and EJ Laure? Just Like What Happened to Co-MVPs Abi Marano and Ara Galang in 2013?

ABI Marano and Ara Galang both helped the DLSU Lady Spikers snagged the UAAP Volleyball Crown in 2013. They were able contribute to their team's campaign in their own unique ways. The league is well aware of that. That's the reason why they were hailed as the tournament co-MVPs.

But there's a deeper side to the story.

Apparently, as far as the old computation system is concerned, Ara Galang was the MVP, but the officials used the new FIVB standard computation and it suggested that Abi Marano should be the MVP.

DLSU then clarified it to the UAAP Board. After some deliberations, they decided to name both players as tournament co-MVPs. The same thing happened to Red Christensen and Mark Alfafara in the Men's division.

What's happening right now in the UAAP Season 77 Women's Volleyball Rookie of The Year race is also the same. There's the old computation pointing out that Ateneo's Bea de Leon should be the Rookie of the Year and there's the new computation that TMX Sports used suggesting that it should be EJ Laure of UST.

There's definitely a high probability that history will repeat itself. Although, this time, it might happen in the Rookie of the Year awardees. The old computation: Bea de Leon while the new computation that TMX Sports used: EJ Laure.

Let's just wait and see what will happen in the next few days.
