With the myriad of injuries the Ateneo Lady Eagles have to go through in the 2nd round of the UAAP Season 77 Women's Volleyball, particularly in the middle blocker position wherein Bea de Leon has been out with finger injury (day-to-day status), Aeriel Patnongon and Maddie Madayag both sustaining ankle sprain in their previous game against UST, Amy Ahomiro is the last woman standing. She certainly can't do it all alone as the sole available middle blocker of the team.
Much to the surprise of the Lady Eagles fans, the very dynamic libero of the team Denden Lazaro was a Middle Blocker in High School. Alyssa Valdez is aware of that. In fact, in an article published in another website, she said that they may use Denden as middle blocker in their next games.
