Breaking news: Damian Lillard no longer has to play one-on-one basketball against Kevin Durant in order to get into the NBA All-Star Game 2015 West Line-up in New York.
The Los Angeles Clippers announced today that All-Star forward Blake Griffin has to immediately undergo surgery on his right elbow due to a staph infection. The operation is scheduled this coming Monday. So that means the recovery period will prevent him from participating in the NBA All-Star Game on February 15 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Portland's ace point-guard Damian Lillard will replace Blake Griffin in the 2015 All-Star Game West line-up. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver himself named Lillard as Griffin's replacement earlier today.
Welcome to the All-Star Game DAME!
