When LeBron James left Miami to go back to his hometown to re-join the Cleveland Cavaliers, he also chose to wear once again the number 23 jersey after the online voting poll that he posted on his Instagram account wherein his followers voiced out that he should wear number 23 again.
Shortly after that poll, James obliged. He has been wearing the good old number 23 in the NBA Pre-Season 2014. And guess what, the legendary Michael Jordan doesn't mind him wearing it once again.
The GOAT (Greatest of All Time) said in an interview when he was asked about LeBron's jersey number, ”I’m cool with it. I don’t own a number.”
MJ kept his answer short and simple. After all, he's right. He doesn't own a number.
