Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP) To Make an Important Announcement Today September 26, 2014

Big Boss Manny V. Pangilinan, popularly known as MVP has been very active on Twitter especially if he has something very important to announce regarding the Smart-Gilas Pilipinas National Team.

Just like when the organizers of the Asian Games tried to question the eligibility of Andray Blatche and Marcus Douthit, MVP spearheaded the fight to clear things up. As a result, a complete 12-man team flew to Incheon Korea to continue its quest for Asian Basketball Glory.

You can really tell that he's passionate about his job as the Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas (SBP) president and as the chief supporter of the National Team.

Few days ago, MVP annouced on Twitter that he has a very important announcement to make on the 26th of September. He added that it has nothing to do with Politics as he has already turned the invitation of Vice President Binay down.

"@iamMVP Mga Kapatid, with my colleagues, I will make a very important announcement this Friday, Sept 26, 11 am, Makati Shang Hotel. See you then."

"@iamMVP Luchi, I can only tell you what it's not about - it's not about politics."

I'm excited about his announcement. Fellow basketball fanatics, let's hope that it has something to do with the FIBA World Cup 2019. That will be awesome for our country and for us basketball fans.
