Rajko Toroman To Become The Head Coach of Jordan National Team

    By BallersPinas

The well known Coach from Serbia and former Smart Gilas Pilipinas National Team mentor Sir Rajko Toroman will be coaching again. This time, he will be taking his coaching prowess to Jordan.

No less than his close friend, Charles Tiu, Chris Tiu's brother, confirmed the news. He shared that the news is true after speaking to the Serbian mentor. He also disclosed that the Jordan National Team has been negotiating with Coach Rajko to replace the American Coach Tab Baldwin, and that the the 59-year old tactician has finally accepted the coaching duty for the middle eastern country.

Just a footnote, Jordan will be the 3rd Asian Country that he will coach after Iran and Philippines. Iran captured the 2007 FIBA Asia Championship Title with the leadership of Coach Toroman. His tour of duty in the Philippines on the other hand was a bit disappointing as the country fell short in their bid to capture the FIBA Asia Title.

Aside from coaching Gilas Pilipinas, Coach Rajko also served as a consultant to 2 PBA Teams.
