Junemar Fajardo Injures Knee, Will Miss Tomorrow's Christmas Day Game Against Greg Slaughter & The Rest of Ginebra Squad

    By BallersPinas

The much anticipated Christmas Day 2013 colossal match-up between The Kraken and Gregzilla in the PLDT MyDSL 2014 PBA Philippine Cup elimins will not happen as the pride of Cebu Junemar Fajardo suffered a right knee injury that forced the Petron management to sit him out for an indefinite period of time.

PBA Fans from all walks of life have been clamoring for this PBA X-Mas Day Special showdown between the league leading Petron Blaze Boosters' anchor inside the shaded-lane Fajardo and Ginebra San Miguel's top pick Slaughter.

But unfortunately, a sad news broke out today. Sports websites bared that Petron's top officials including coach Siot Tanquincen confirmed that Fajardo suffered a knee injury during one of their practice sessions. He accidentally stepped on fellow big-man Doug Kramer's foot.

It alarmed the PBA Fans because there were rumors that it was an ACL tear Injury.

Good thing Coach Gee Abanilla clarified everything by saying that Fajardo's injury doesn't require surgery. Meaning, it was just a sprained ACL and the recovery period will definitely be less than 6 months.
