NBA Donates Millions of Money for Typhoon Yolanda Victims In Philippines : NBA Really Cares!

    By Val Marvin G. Macanas

    "The NBA Really Cares!"

The ties that bind the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Philippines continue to grow as the NBA and the National Basketball Players' Association (NBPA) promised to donate a huge sum of money amounting to 250,000 US Dollars for the victims of typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.

Latest reports on the harsh impact of the typhoon show that there are now 1,700 plus total casualties and hundreds of injured Filipinos. The donation will surely be a big help to the plight of the unfortunate victims.

The donation, when converted to Philippine Peso, its value is expected to be a whopping 10,896,250 Php. I just hope that the donation will reach the hands of the unfortunate victims of the dreaded typhoon Yolanda a.k.a. Typhoon Haiya because they need more food, water, medicines, and toiletries.

If you are in the Philippines, you may want to extend a helping hand by checking out the list below.
