Japeth Aguilar Has No Major MCL Injury: To Play Again After 4-6 Weeks

    By BallersPinas

Manila, Philippines -- AFTER hurting his MCL last night in Barangay Ginebra San Miguel's game against Barako Bull, the high-flying Big Man underwent MRI and fortunately, his injury was not as serious as what was initially reported.

The initial results of MRI are negative.

His MCL was just sprained and that it only has some microtears. It will only need 4-6 weeks to heal. That's according to "The Dean" Quinito Henson.

"Dr Canlas says Japeth reevaluated after 1 wk-has good pain tolerance-should play in 4-6 weeks-MCL sprain has some microtears-doing, therapy." said The Dean via Twitter.
