Michael Dunigan Playing for Miami Heat in NBA Summerleague : Another PBA Import Playing In Summerleague

    By Val Marvin G. Macanas

Just like Denzel Bowles of the B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados who got invited to play for the then New Orleans Pelicans in the 2012 NBA Summerleague, another former PBA Import caught the attention of NBA scouts.

Michael Dunigan, who once played for the Air 21 Express in the PBA also got the call to play in the NBA Summerleague particularly for the reigning NBA Champion Miami Heat.

We all know that Miami is looking to get an additional big man that can beef up their frontline in preparation for the next NBA Season. Could Dunigan be that additional big man?

Dunigan showed his amazing basketball skills in the Heat's summerleague game against the Brooklyn Nets. And oh, they won the game. He really wowed the commentators, so much so that they can't help but mention where Dunigan last played and it's in the Philippines where basketball is really BIG. Hopefully he was able to wow not only the commentators but also the Miami Heat management.
