Manila, Philippines - Letran Knights Point Guard Franz Dysam underwent a successful operation to remove the bullets from his body. He may need 1 month to recover. That's according to Fr. Vic Calvo of the Colegio De San Juan De Letran.
"Nag stuck yung apat na bullets sa kanya. Good thing successful yung operation. Timetable? Mga 1 month siguro pwede na. Pinagdadasal namin na maka recover na siya kasi kasama siya sa rotation," said Fr. Vic.
Fr. Vic also shared the diverse effects of the very unfortunate shooting incident that took the life of Dysam's girlfriend.
"During the dinner after nung victory last Saturday, hindi kami maka kain. Kasi kasama ko lang gf niya andun sa likod ng bench during the game. Ganun nalang biglang nawala. Nung sunday nag attend kami ng mass. Malungkot mga players. Binigyan namin sila psychological session with our sports psychologist. Ganun yun kasi parang family kayo kasi nga magkakasama kayo sa dorm, sabay kayo kumain, etc." Fr. Vic added.
Meanwhile, according to a news report, those who are investigating the shooting incident have yet to identify the perpetrators.
