On June 29, Saturday, the UAAP Season 76 will open it's door for another joyful ride for avid college basketball fans. UAAP Teams have been preparing for the new Basketball Season, each of them hoping to bring home the Championship Trophy that has been in Katipunan for quite some time now.
As the host this year, Adamson University is well aware that Greatness will unravel itself when teams battle it out on the hard-court. No wonder, they chose the theme: "Greatness never Ends!"
That's true because when you take a closer look at the games, you'll focus not on the score, but on the players who characterized the definition of greatness. They'll be immortalized in the hearts of the fans because of the greatness that they have within. And I assure you that each teams have players who have the potential to be great. Take a look at the teams' respective rosters.
The New Breed of UE Red Warriors led by Roi Sumang and Charles Mammie made big waves in the pre-season games particularly in the FilOil Flying Hanes Pre-Season Cup wherein they beat Bobby Ray Parks and the NU Bulldogs in the Finals. In that game, the Red Warriors showed great poise and determination. Mammie, whose mission is to become the best big man in the UAAP showed that he can dominate the likes of Mbe and Aroga. Roi on the other hand showed a well rounded type of play. He exhibited his scoring prowess, play-making ability, never say die attitude and leadership skills.
Aside from UE, Ateneo, UST, DLSU and Adamson also showed how strong their line-ups are.
