Ateneo Blue Eagles Left FilOil Flying V Pre Season Cup 2013 and Fr. Martin Cup 2013 Campaign: But Why?

When I heard this news, Manny Pacquiao's Mantra was the first thing that came into my mind. "Fighting the fight that really matters," it is.

Yeah, you really have to choose which fights you have to fight especially if you have a number of injured players.

No wonder, the Ateneo De Manila University Blue Eagles had to withdraw from the FilOil Flying V Pre Season Cup 2013 and Fr. Martin Cup 2013 because of injuries.

Ateneo could have been the top seeded team in Group B of the FilOil Flying V Pre Season Cup 2013 Playoffs, but they were prompted to pull-out from the league because of injury problems.

"Ateneo pulls out of summer leagues Fr. Martin, Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup, due to injuries," said Ateneo exec Mr. Ricky Palou moments after Ateneo beat their arch rival DLSU last Saturday.
