Rajon Rondo Might Be Back This Season For Boston: He Only Has Partial ACL Tear!

This is definitely a very good news for diehard Boston Celtics Fans. Rajon Rondo might be back this Season.

After initially announcing that he will be out for the rest of the NBA 2012-2013 Season due to complete ACL Tear, Rajon Rondo might make an early return for Boston.

Doctors said that they discovered that Rajon Rondo only has a Partial ACL Tear and not a complete tear.

Usually, partial tears in the ACL may just require few months of rehab in order to regain muscle strength in the surrounding muscles- the hamstring and the quadriceps, so that these muscles can compensate and support for the partially torn ligament. Surgery is no longer necessary.

Thus, Rondo could be back this Season. There's still no Timetable for his return though.
