Japeth Aguilar Now In The Philippines, Spotted Training With GlobalPort

Japeth has finally arrived in the Philippines to join his new team, GlobalPort Batang Pier. He has already been spotted practicing with his new team.

The 6'9 Big Man looks comfortable playing with Justin Williams, the import of the GlobalPort Batang Pier for the upcoming PBA Season 38 Commissioner's Cup which will kick of this coming Friday, February 8, 2013.

Oh man, Japeth looks very determined to make some noise for his new team. I wanna see him get those lob passes from Sol Mercado. Man that looks nice

Japeth will be having his debut game for GlobalPort this coming Friday when they go up against Renaldo Balkman and the rest of the Petron Blaze Boosters in the Commissioner’s Cup Conference opening game. The game will start at 5:15 p.m..

Japeth will now be able to show the things that he learned during his stay in the NBA D League wherein he was a practice player for the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Expect him to get a lot of playing time. That was the promise of coach Junel Baculi.
