    Talk ‘n Text Beat Rain or Shine To Lead 3-0 In PBA Season 38 Philippine Cup Best of 7 Finals




    “Jimmy Alapag Is Always Clutch!”

    Jimmy Alapag scored 11 of his 15 points in the all important 4th quarter to help Talk ‘n Text beat Rain or Shine (ROS) via 89-80 in Game 3 of their PBA Season 38 Philippine Cup Best of 7 Finals Series held at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

    The game was close from the 1st Quarter up to the 3rd Quarter. The 4th quarter was a whole lot different. Talk ‘n Text dominated the last quarter of this game anchored on the clutch performance of Alapag.

    Alapag and the rest of the Tropang Texters rallied in the last 4 minutes of the 4th Quarter, outscoring Rain or Shine by 13 points, 28-15 in the pay-off period. Alapag shot 2 Big 3 point bombs to stun the Elastopainters. He sealed the win for Talk ‘n Text.

    Talk ‘n Text now has an overwhelming 3-0 advantage heading into Game 4 wherein they will have a chance to close out the series. Game 4 will be on Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
